A practical introduction to financial services in the City of London, suitable for any sixth form pupil

Amplify Trading would like to invite schools in the UK to provide their sixth form pupils with a practical insight into the financial services sector, using the same training simulations delivered to the world's largest financial firms.

Sixth form pupils will be able to rotate through different roles in the industry to understand how the city works, and whether finance will be a suitable career path.

The event will be dedicated to your school and held online using our multi-camera virtual room, specifically built to hold the training simulations. Whereas so often learning online can feel like an isolated experience, our simulation technology will help pupils connect and engage in collaboration and competition.

Our technology has been built to allow pupils to gain a practical understanding of the different roles in the industry, no matter what they are studying or their level of financial knowledge. Our training technology has been developed in partnership with many of the world's largest investment banks to Disrupt Graduate Recruitment.

WHAT DOES THE EVENT INCLUDE?
09:00 - 10:00: INDUSTRY OVERVIEW

Amplify Trading's Managing Director will deliver an up to date industry overview covering everything from institutions and their objectives, to the current industry challenges.

10:00 - 12:00 : 2020 GLOBAL MARKETS

Pupils will then be taken through the extraordinary market moves we have seen so far this year, before then Re-Trading them, exactly as they happened on the new games created exclusively for Amplify Trading's ReTrader app.

13:00 - 15:30: FINANCE IN PRACTICE

Pupils then rotate through core roles inside an investment bank and asset management firm, to experience what working in the industry is like. This engaging simulation is designed to show any pupil in what area of finance their strengths may lie.

15:30 - 16:00: BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
The Amplify Trading team will review the lessons learned, and discuss the future trends impacting the financial sector now. Pupils will receive a certificate of completion following the event.
