What was your background before starting the course?

I finished a university degree in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. So, I was not familiar with the world of finance.

How has Amplify helped in your career development?

My friend recommended me the course to get an insight into economic and financial theory, and how everything in the world comes together in terms of macro-developments.

I thought that would be useful to become aware of these things, and it was a short, but concise information about “everything you need to know in finance”. That is the most appealing part of the course. Later, I discovered I really enjoyed trading and it is reassuring to know I will have opportunities to continue in this field or something very close to it.

So, overall it helped me to advance my career possibilities and gain necessary knowledge in the field.

What was the biggest challenge in moving to trading live markets?

The biggest challenge I would say was psychology, for me it is fear of losing. All in all, trading is about making an educated guess of what’s going to happen, and it’s a balance of theory, experience and psychology. However, when you are familiar with the theory, the technicals, and you have an edge over the market, what’s really is going to make a difference between success and failure over the long run is psychology.

Would you recommend Amplify to a friend?

Of Course! I would recommend Amplify to anyone who wants to start career in trading, or start a career in finance, or familiarize themselves with the field in general. Amplify offers great support for anyone who is interested.
